Marianne Bellotti is CTO of data startup Exversion and co-organizer of Hacker Hours in New York City. A self-taught hacker, she proved herself by besting her male colleagues at nearly a dozen hackathons. Back when she used to have free time she spent it watching hockey and reading trashy romances.
Yodit Stanton is the founder of Atomic Data Labs, a Data and Software development consultancy. Currently she is working on a project called Opensensors.io hoping to enable anyone to easily unlock data from devices.
Desi is currently the Managing Director of the Denver office at thoughtbot. She has been in the business of building software in one way or another since graduating from Georgia Tech in 2000. Her favorite language is Ruby. She is one of the cofounders of DevChix, is active in the RailsBridge community and volunteers much of her time to teaching and increasing diversity in our community. She enjoys traveling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
Sepi received her BSc. in Electronic Engineering at Trent Nottingham and a PhD in Experimental Astrophysics & Space Science from Kent University UK. For the past 18 years, she has worked in media technology. Her current research includes analysis & implementation of Dynamic & Smart Media on multiplatform devices. In 2012 with her superior Professor Dame Wendy Hall, she launched “Southampton Fraunhofer Web & Internet Research & Development” (SoFWIReD) to partially determine the future of the Internet as we know it.
Sally Jenkinson is a freelance technical analyst and consultant based in Colchester, Essex. Working primarily for various global digital agencies, over the years she has worked with clients including Nokia, Electronic Arts, D-Link, and Manchester United, and is also an Adobe Community Professional.
Belén works as an R&D developer in Telefónica Digital, coding mobile and web apps. She has also experience in the start-up scene and in the game industry, and has worked in games and apps for iOS and Facebook.
